In 1906 Dezső Kosztolányi became a regular member of the editorial staff of Budapesti Napló. From then on he kept writing all his life for different Hungarian newspapers. ![]() However, already in 1905 he gave up altogether his studies because he got the opportunity to start a career as a journalist. ![]() In autumn 1903 Dezső Kosztolányi took up his studies of Hungarian and German philology at the University of Budapest, but moved on to Vienna a year later to enrol in philosophy and literature at the university there. ![]()
